TV for flight to Tokyo
1 week today!!! Argh!! Not sure what most of these films are for the plane but at least there’s lots to choose from, and I’ll load my iPod up too. Never been to Terminal 5 at Heathrow before so I hope it’s okay as that’s where we go via. Only time my luggage has ever been lost for a few days was a Tokyo flight on BA with Bis in the past, so I hope that doesn’t happen!

Encounters at The End Of The World is a pretty interesting documentary from Werner Herzog about Antarctica and researchers that live there. In The Loop is the new film based on the tv show In The Thick Of It (haven’t seen the film but the show was funny/interesting). The Sting is a classic which you probably know about. Duplicity is a “spy caper” movie with Clive Owen and Julia Roberts, and it wasn’t bad. Notes On A Scandal was excellent, it’s got Judi Dench and Cate Blanchett if I recall and is basically about, well, a scandal of sorts. The others I’m not sure about. Looks like there will be plenty to watch though (if I do say so myself – hey you don’t even know me, I might have awful taste!). I’ve never been to terminal 5 either, but I’ve heard it’s gotten better than it was at first (which apparently was a total mess). Lost luggage is kind of not something you can plan for though, when it happens it’s just bad luck…
You have to watch let the right one in. The best film I’ve seen this year, it can loosely be described as a ‘gothic coming of age film’. Truly brilliant.
