Urgent help needed in USA and Japan!

As you probably know, my album is coming out in the UK on 8th September on This is Fake DIY records. However, no one in outside the UK will be able to download the album, nor buy the CD unless you get via myself or a company that ships abroad. This was something I thought was being dealt with, but now I’ve disappointingly learnt otherwise.

So, I need your advice on USA and Japanese labels I should urgently approach about getting a release there. Any help whatsoever would be greatly appreciated!!

For the US, CD Baby (http://cdbaby.net/) is a fantastic artist-friendly indie distributor. You (or your label) ship them the CDs, then they take care of selling them. They also offer a service to sell them on the online music stores like iTunes and Rhapsody.

Can’t wait to hear the new tunes. Rock on!

I’ve used CD Baby to find new music and music for those DIY folks who want to get past labels and it’s a great service.

I’m in the US and i’m looking forward to the new release!

Check Friendly Fire Records, they signed David and the Citizens for the U.S. so they can’t be too bad!
