2 tickets purchased! Missed out on seeing you EVERY SINGLE TIME in the 90s for whatever reason, so have been hoping for a gig like this for years :)

so this has been bothering me for years now: how do you write songs like “chicago” and “today of all days” then decide immediately you’ve had enough? those songs were the best you made in years and if there were 10-12 songs of similar caliber on an album, it would gain you, at worst, a Mercury Prize nod. In a decade where pop music’s icons are Lady Gaga (a, 80s madonna/ Marilyn Manson hybrid) and a Rihanna )(who samples 80s hit songs: also here, lets not under-estimate how Duran Duran the Killers have become) how can you not be in the studio at the very worst recording an EP?
Also, i miss you all very much. Come to Boston. i’ve only seen you three courses, and i’ve been hoping for 5-6 course meal. :(
