The guys and I have decided to open our little indie hearts to the Spanish sun in May 2010 for Primavera Festival! This one-off Bis reunion in Barcelona (unless we get offered wads of cash to do more of course!) will be alongside Pavement, Pixies, the Fall, and many other great bands. Bis played Primavera quite a few years ago, and it’s where I got to meet the lovely Jarvis Cocker! Come join us for a few days if you can!
The photoshoot I did in Princes Square recently with 21 other “style icons” (ha!) will feature in the Scottish Sunday Herald this coming weekend. Should be an interesting piece so looking forward to it myself! I’ll post it on here for the non-Scots and non-paper buyers.
I’ll be DJing in Glasgow next Friday night for the Gandolfi Goes Pop event 24-28th Sep. It’s at Hutchinson Hall, 158 Ingram Street, Glasgow – is free and you may have seen this cool article about it! It was here that Sci-fi Steven had the dinner for his wedding last year, and it’s Bar Gandolfi upstairs I regularly visit for the wine tasting and quiz events, so a brilliant place!
