I’m doing a photoshoot next week for the Glasgow Herald. It’s to celebrate the 21st birthday of Princes Square, and I’m one of Glasgow’s 21 “style icons”! Should be fun and I’ll get the double page piece/online coverage on here when it’s ready.

As I am without two of my hunky Rinettes in Tokyo, I thought these little guys could come with me to make up for it! Okay, only 70cm tall, but very funny indeed! 2 Japanese fans will be going home with them at the end of the night too haha!
There’s a good start to the press for My DNA in Japan. Lots of new media since I was last there, but I remember Space Shower TV. All looking good for the 22nd July release, so go here for a peek!

My DNA will be released digitally in Japan on 22nd July on Uutwo Records. It will feature bonus tracks ‘A Spy in the Workplace’, ‘My Love’s Your Love’ and ‘DNA – McSleazy remix’ like the USA album.
To promote this release there will also be a gig on 13th July at Chelsea Hotell, Shibuya in Tokyo. Also playing is Aiha Higurashi and Loves! which features members of Limited Express and Seagull Screaming Kiss Her Kiss Her who I really like! Sadly all of my band won’t be there so will have to put their instruments on the laptop backing. Not ideal, but I’m determined to put on as good a show as I can! I’m also thinking of various blow-up people ideas to put their faces on…
Tickets go on sale 27th June. 2,500 yen in advance, 3,000 yen on the door.
For those of you who didn’t know, I’ve been asked to do all the artwork for a new iPhone game that’s coming out this summer. I can’t say too much ’til they do the Press Release and promotion, but it’s an adventure game and is looking utterly brilliant (says the girl who isn’t an iPhone fan!). I’ve been doing lots of characters, scenes and random items, and they’ve let me show the pic above after bugging them! It’s been so much fun doing the artwork and I can’t wait to see what you think. Lots more work still to do on it, but all going well!
